Coaches Blog: Fall 2011

Where did summer go? As we welcome fall we have to say good bye to the beautiful Colorado summer days. It seems like summer goes by faster every year. As we move into the cool days of fall PSG will be busy with events that can keep your children busy and most importantly, active. Every Friday night Open Gym is available from 7-9pm. Fee is $8 per child (ages 3 and up) and it allows gymnasts to work on their gymnastics skills or just burn off their excess energy while you enjoy a night out.

Every month we also offer a Parents' Night Out. PNO is a themed three-hour event scheduled on various Saturdays each month and includes pizza, drinks and prizes. Our PNOs also serve as fundraisers for community elementary schools. Each month we work in conjunction with a local school Booster Club to provide an opportunity for fundraising. We are in our second year of working with local elementary schools and we are so honored to be continuing this partnership.

October 31 PSG will be participating in the Trick or Treat on Mainstreet event. PSG will have a booth with candy and prizes to hand out. Members of the boys team will be on hand to assist and show off a little too. Be sure to come down and visit the PSG booth. The event is scheduled to run 4-8pm on Monday, October 31.     

The PSG Team program is busy with the USAG Girls Team currently in their competition season. The girls are now competing in their regular season and those who qualify will compete in the Colorado State Championships in early December. The PSG Boys Team will then begin their pre-season November 19 at the annual Colorado Judges' Cup. The boys regular season begins in mid December and runs through March 2012. Please visit our Team page to view competition schedules. Children who are interested in competing are encouraged to come watch Team Parker compete in local competitions. Both students and parents can get a good perspective on competitions and also, cheer on our team.

PNO SCHEDULE
Every PNO is scheduled from 6-9pm. Fee is $15 per child (ages 3 and up only). You do not have to be a member to participate. Pre-registration is required. Sign up in the office or call 303-841-9269.
