Tumbling
BEGINNER TUMBLING
Ages: 6 years and up
($70.00/Session)
Class Description:
Student attends the Beginner Tumbling class once per week for 1 hour per
class. Classes begin with group stretching and warm-up exercises. This
portion of the class is designed to enhance the gymnasts’ level of flexibility.
The focus of this class is to teach basic tumbling to the student. In this class
students will work toward mastering the standing back hand-spring and
standing back hand-spring As in our other classes, our coaches continually
strive to bring fun and excitement to each class by introducing new skills and
practice drills.
Ratio:
8 students - 1 coach
Class Pre-requisites
• None
INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING
Ages: 6 years and up
($70.00/Session)
Class Description:
Students attend the class once per week for 1 hour per class. Classes begin
with group stretching and warm-up exercises. This portion of the class is
designed to enhance the students’ level of flexibility. After group stretching and
warm-up is complete, the students move to various stations to work on
different Tumbling skills. The focus of this class is to teach multiple back handsprings
and back tucks. As in our other classes, our coaches continually strive
to bring fun and excitement to each class by introducing new skills and
practice drills.
Ratio:
8 students - 1 coach
Class Pre-requisites
• Mastery of Round off back hand-spring and standing back hand-spring
• Must be tested by Coach on skills in Beginner Tumbling
CHEER SKILLS
Ages: 6 years and up
($70.00/Session)
Class Description:
Student attends the Cheer Skills class once per week for 1 hour per class.
Classes begin with group stretching and warm-up exercises. This portion of
the class is designed to enhance the gymnasts’ level of flexibility. The focus of
this class is to teach basic cheerleading skills such as: jumps, motions and
basic tumbling. As in our other classes, our coaches continually strive to bring
fun and excitement to each class by introducing new skills and practice drills.
